Today we’d like to introduce you to Eileen Koff.
Hi Eileen, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
In 1998, Eileen Koff, CPO, founded To The Next Level, a professional organizing business originally based on Long Island, NY. Since 2023, Eileen has dedicated her time and expertise to Eileen Koff Ministries, following the release of her Bible study and declutter workbook, Get Organized God’s Way. Her mission is to help clients identify the root causes of disorganization and achieve lasting success by applying God’s Word to transform from the inside out.
Eileen earned the distinction of Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) in 2007, during the industry’s inaugural certification offering. She actively contributed to NAPO (National Association of Professional Organizers) from 2004 to 2013 as the Communication Project Head for the Education Committee, developer of several NAPO courses, Newsletter Editor, and News Publication Chair—an editorial role that earned NAPO News the prestigious APEX award in 2013. Additionally, she holds a Level Two Certification with the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD). In March 2014, Eileen co-developed and presented the workshop “Getting Visible Results in a Virtual World” to over 135 ICD subscribers.
In 2009, To The Next Level became the first company in the professional organizing industry to earn eco-certification through Green Irene, a New York-based company promoting environmental awareness. Eileen was the featured eco-speaker at the 2010 NAPO Convention in Columbus, Ohio, and in January 2013, she received NAPO-LA’s “Best Green Service” award for her leadership in eco-friendly organizing. She also served as a panelist at the 2013 NAPO National Convention in New Orleans, discussing “Stepping into ECO… Environmentally Conscious Organizing.”
In 2007, Eileen helped co-found Faithful Organizers, an online, international Christian community of over 200 professional organizers. She served as their Devotion Director, writing monthly devotions and prayers from 2007 to 2015. From 2011 to 2014, she was a columnist for Just Between Us, a Christian women’s magazine with over 8,500 subscribers. Her blogs are featured on various Christian platforms, including Sonoma Christian Home. Alongside her Bible study, Eileen has led workshops and spoken at numerous churches nationwide. She has been featured in local and national print media, webinars, and radio/podcast interviews. Her greatest passion is sharing the transformative power of God’s Word in people’s lives.
Eileen and her husband Wayne, along with their beloved pup Javi, moved to Cary, North Carolina, in September 2020, and are loving their new home. When she’s not organizing, teaching, or speaking, she enjoys cooking, caring for Javi, and traveling with Wayne. In January 2018, Eileen assumed the role of President and CEO of Peace Island Children’s Center (www.PeaceIslandCC.org), a nonprofit dedicated to aiding impoverished fishing villages in Uganda by providing water, education, medical supplies, and sports programs.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Nothing truly worth accomplishing is ever smooth; it is through trials and tribulations that we experience growth and discover answers. Every client and class I have had the privilege to serve presents its own challenges and demands, but witnessing the profound transformations in those individuals throughout the process is incredibly rewarding. Our society, along with past generations that have often been driven by possessions and materialism, stands in direct opposition to God’s Word. Illuminating these misconceptions with His light and truth brings about the most purpose-filled and joyful breakthroughs. Observing the results—peace settling within homes and relationships, along with a newfound understanding that individuals can share with friends and neighbors—creates a powerful ripple effect that extends far beyond the initial transformation.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
All of my client sessions are conducted virtually, allowing me to work with individuals across the globe, including clients in Europe, Australia, and New Zealand. Clients often connect with me after watching my YouTube episodes on Eileen Koff, and they are drawn to my focus on Scripture and how to bring God’s peace and order into their lives—not just in their homes, but in their hearts and daily routines as well. This unique, faith-centered approach helps them experience true transformation from the inside out.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
age 6 sitting on newspaper surrounding me eating a pomegranate…still my favorite fruit
