Today we’d like to introduce you to Julian Hall.
Hi Julian, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for sharing your story with us – to start, maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers.
I am a North Carolina native, having been in Durham for most of my life, although I was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. After graduating from Hillside High School in 1999 (and was a knucklehead), I pursued my education at Durham Tech Community College, where I earned an Associate degree. I continued my education by obtaining my BA with honors in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2006. In 2008, I continued my education by attending The North Carolina Central University School of Law, where I graduated with Cum Lade honors. I also Became a member of my beloved fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc., while in law school. I interned with Frasier and Griffin PLLC and Henson and Fuerst, PA, to gain hands-on professional and practical experience as a young lawyer while in school. I passed the North Carolina State Bar in 2011 and began practicing that same year with Frasier and Griffin. I realized my ultimate desire was to have my own law firm, so in September 2014, The Law Office of Julian M. Hall was opened. The Law Office of Julian M. Hall is a firm that focuses on criminal, traffic, and personal injury cases in downtown Durham, North Carolina. The Law Office of Julian M. Hall offers assertive and diligent representation to the accused and injured. I am an active member of the 14th Judicial District Bar (Durham County Bar Association), The American Bar Association (Criminal Law Division), The George White Bar Association, and the Middle and Eastern District Federal Courts of North Carolina.
It wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has been smoother than I expected. I am a person who typically prepares for the worst, so I’m ready for whatever may come.
Let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I provide diligent and aggressive representation in a variety of practice areas. I am known for never accepting the first answer and always being prepared. I am proud to have single-handedly built a thriving practice in under 10 years. I own my building and care for my employees, who have grown with me.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
That everyone doesn’t like or love you! That everything is all good when things are all good. Cover your but with proof.
