Meet Kaylin of The Kure to Christ

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kaylin.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
In 2023, God was calling me to come back to Him, live righteously, repent and turn away from sin to strengthen my relationship with Him. I was born into the faith. The daughter of a Minister, who is the daughter of a Pastor that believed in God but was living a lukewarm lifestyle.

God had called me into ministry in 2019 and I was a ministry leader on campus at UNCC, still living lukewarm and went through trials and tribulations that pulled me away from ministry and back into the world. It’s all apart of my testimony.

Fast forward to 2023, The Kure to Christ launched as a podcast ministry. I hosted my first women’s event in May of 2025, which will be held annually, called Woman at the Well and have been asked to do the exact same event at other churches for their women’s fellowship gatherings.

I also launched a testimonial social platform for people to share their testimony for others to read and leave comments about the power of Jesus Christ.

I am also hosting two TBD faith and fitness Pilates classes.

What started out as an act of faith and just having started actually reading the Bible has grown into building confidence in myself and with the Lord.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The walk with Christ is not at all smooth but that is the beauty of it. It’s a testament of faith.

I had to let go of a lot of worldly desires, friendships, relationships, a job, my home and car to fully surrender and walk in obedience to Christ. There was a lot of deep inner work of fasting and prayer to get to where I am on a spiritual level. There was a ton of spiritual warfare and still is but I am able to fight the enemy a lot better.

I am not at all holier than thou or deem myself as the perfect Christian. I am fighting the flesh daily with the help of my Heavenly Father.

Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am currently a NC Licensed Esthetician and owner of a faith based business called Baby Gyal Aesthetics. I only play Christian music and pour into my clients however God leads me to.

I offer services such as lash extensions and training, brow threading and waxing and more!

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
I joined Baptist Grove Church where I serve as a YA ministry leader and other areas in the church. I also join Bible study every Tuesday and Thursday outside of my church’s Bible Study on Wednesday to stay rooted in the faith.

I advise everyone to find a church home, preaching sound doctrine because it is important to have community in the faith.
