Meet Kenneth Williams

Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenneth Williams.

Hi Kenneth, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
So ever since a kid I’ve always been in front of the camera doing entertaining videos for my family, my 2 sisters use to dress me up and have me put on a show in front of my mom and dad, but up until middle school my views changed and I was all for being a veterinarian so I for years up until junior year of high-school I always wanted to be a Vet, I changed my major senior year of high-school to Business and marketing because at the time I was very heavy into drop shipping items, I had 3 small online businesses doing very well at that time so I figured I would pursue business heavy, Business comes second nature to me, I left college my sophomore year and started to really pursue YouTube and then I ran into some local film makers online and they put a bug in my ear about making films so I started to do research on it and turns out that really sparked a flame inside me, and so I started to reach around the city to find like-minded individuals to Collab with and so I did and from there I have just been progressing and learning more and more, At this point in my life I can truly say I want film making to be my full time job shortly and that I can see myself pursuing this with everything I got forever. I encourage everybody that has a dream to work extremely hard 25/8 to make sure the dream becomes reality, dreams don’t come easy, but it’s up to you to make sure your dreams come true and not stay a dream.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a small filmmaker has its ups and downs, trying to manage people you cast, etc. Making sure everybody is on set on time, being an over-thinker doesn’t help either, the biggest struggle is not knowing if your project you work hard on is going to be the next big thing but if it isn’t, I learn from each film and try to up myself the next time around and make an even better piece of art, that is what I call each one of my films, it’s a way to express my thoughts and put on the big screen for people to enjoy! that’s the end goal!

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’m a content creator so I try and keep my supporters motivated and inspired so If I’m not doing that, I’m not working hard enough. I want people to know that with hard work you receive things that you’ve always wanted. but the trick is to start with a thought next is a goal the last thing is the work you have to put in!

My YOUTUBE channel (1TAKEKENNY) is sitting at over 5500 Subscribers and my TikTok is sitting at over 50 thousand followers, I just received my first major sponsorship not too long ago with THECOLDESTWATER so I’ve been very busy trying to make a name for myself, so with that being said the work is showing for itself but I have to put myself in a position where I can motivate others to chase their dreams!

What were you like growing up?
So ever since a kid I’ve always been in front of the camera doing entertaining videos for my family, my 2 sisters used to dress me up and have me put on a show in front of my mom and dad, I was always and still am the goofy and weird Kid, grew up a lot different than other kids I always use to watch Anime growing up such as Naruto, Bleach, DragonBallZ, and was a very big WWE fan kid at school used to call me weird but I never worried about it because I was always true to myself and I had and have 2 best friends Jelani and Allen who were and still is by my side pretty much like brothers at this point we grew up together being the weird kids in school and it’s ironic because a lot of the “weird” stuff now is getting me paid. I like to always be positive especially because I tend to enjoy rubbing off on people in a good way If I’m in a happy mood and can give you joy that is all that matters to me!
