Today we’d like to introduce you to Kenya Hayes
Hi Kenya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I love to call myself a self-proclaimed fashionista whose love for fashion and style started as a young girl. This big interest of mine turned into me posting a lot of my outfits on social media for fun. You could always count on a mirror picture in an outfit from me (LOL!) After a while of just casually posting, one of my family members encouraged me to start creating content on my social media pages and the rest is history! I was nervous in the beginning, but through enough trial and error I became a content creator. Most of my content focuses on style inspiration that teaches how to coordinate your looks while also not breaking the budget! I also love to incorporate lifestyle content that includes cooking, food reviews, travel, and whatever else my heart desires. I enjoy sharing my style with the world and excited about what’s next to come in my content creator journey!
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
In the beginning of my journey, I was focused on how others would perceive me or if someone would watch my content. I lived in my head A LOT, but I kept posting! I did not allow the self-doubt to stop me from what I truly enjoy.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I have worked in health insurance for the last 16 years of my professional career while also managing my social media platforms. I’m proud of my career growth throughout the years and I love that I am always open to learning new skills.
Let’s talk about our city – what do you love? What do you not love?
I love that our city is forever growing with so much to do! There are so many great restaurants, entertainment, parks, and so much more! The only thing I wish is for more restaurants in the area to stay open later. Sometimes I want a mid night snack from my favorite Mexican restaurant!
