Hi Lakisha, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Hello, my name is Lakisha Hayes, The Owner and Founder of Rehydrate Wellness Bar, PLLC. I am a Registered Nurse and a mother of 3 beautiful young ladies.

My journey in the medical field has been very joyous and educational. During this time, I have learned a lot and dedicated myself to build a business that would help others by providing safe and compassionate care.

Rehydrate Wellness bar is designed to provide rehydration and vitamin therapy in a relaxed and safe setting while helping clients to avoiding busy emergency rooms and doctors’ offices but not replacing emergency services.

Rehydrate Wellness Bar, PLLC, is a health and wellness concept of intravenous (IV) hydration and vitamin therapy. This clinic aims to provide safe, compassionate, and high-energy services to clients in the comfort of their home, business, or our on-site location.

We are located in Kannapolis, NC, and provide services to all surrounding areas.

Rehydrate Wellness Bar, PLLC is an IV hydration wellness office that provides IV Drip treatments to athletes, gym goers, hardworking men and women, doctors, nurses, etc.

My official opening date was November 5th, 2022. Since opening, I have serviced almost 100 clients and added other services such as Body contouring and Semeglutide injections for weight loss.

I am excited about the years to come and the accomplishments I have gained throughout my career. Being the go-getter that I am, I have begun working toward my Master’s Degree in Nursing with the desire to become a Nurse Practitioner. With the goals I have in mind, I have set the bar high and looking forward to the challenges to come.

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This been a pretty smooth transition; however, with every new business comes obstacles. The only obstacles I have faced have been funding, marketing, and advertising. I used my own money to start and run this business. I still work in the emergency room to help assist with the offset of the cost of my equipment, supplies and marketing. Finding the right audience to market to has been difficult even though the services I offer can be beneficial to everyone. I use social media as my main source of advertising and marketing. IV hydration therapy, also known as IV Drips, is a treatment method in which fluids are delivered directly into your bloodstream through a small IV inserted into your arm. The fluids included in the bag can be a mix of vitamins, electrolytes, antioxidants, and even medication. The electrolytes can include magnesium, Ascorbic Acid (Vit C), B-Complex vitamins,  Zinc and more.

I don’t believe much in luck; I believe in the favor of God, and he has shown much favor since I have started this business. God plays a huge part in my life and my business. I believe that as long as I keep him first in everything I do. I will continue to flourish and grow my business.
