Hi LaWanda, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Allow me to reintroduce myself, I am LaWanda Smith, I’m from a small town called Turkey North Carolina. I am loving mother, a loving partner, dog lover, a professional credit repair consultant, a health coach and a serial entrepreneur. I believe and I have truly learned that good health, wealth & beauty is all within and has to come to anyone that works hard, is disciplined and consistent everyday. You must win. This all led me to achieve a successful credit repair company called (Strategic Planning Consultants) in the Raleigh North Carolina and surrounding areas where I help communities understand financial management, bookkeeping and funding. I’m also the owner of (Bouncing Blessings Rentals) in Raleigh North Carolina for all occasions & events.
I am a graduate of (cosmetology) at James Sprunt Community College in Kenansville North Carolina, I gained my certification in leadership with Truist Institute through the University of Mt. Olive in North Carolina, where I studied Business Administration & Business Management.
I built businesses while raising babies. Turned pain into purpose and ideas into income. I don’t wait for seats at the table-I build my own and bring other women and men with me.
You’ll catch me talking wellness one day and wealth the next, because I refuse to believe women have to choose between being soft and being successful. We can nurture, lead, heal & secure the bag.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not been a smooth road only because entrepreneurship requires hard work, dedication & determination. Every no means your on your way to your yes! I went from 0 clients to multiple clients. Stay consistent. Building a successful business can be stressful but it’s worth it, don’t give up!

“I help clients improve their credit while fixing inaccurate, unfair, or outdated negative information on your credit reports, and improving the habits that affect your credit score,
while also operating a party rental business for events and celebrations.”
How do you think about luck?
I rarely look at my life as being lucky I don’t believe in that but I do believe in walking by faith & not by sight. I’m blessed to have struggled & overcome every obstacle that has came my way. Stay focused & remember the goal no matter what it looks like! Discipline and consistency wins every time.
