Hi Michelle, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is Michelle Vasquez and I started out my career in Accounting and then several years later I became a professional tennis instructor and stuck with it for over 15 years. One of my clients convinced me that I would be an amazing wedding planner, so I went for it and now here we are! I decided to add content creation to my services because I slowly found myself filming behind the scenes of every wedding I was coordinating – so I thought what the heck, let’s do it!

I have two beautiful children named Roy & Zoe , a Border Collie named Spur & a Golden-doodle named Sky.

If I could only watch 3 shows forever they would be Friends (obviously), Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Schitts Creek!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Any career you choose in the wedding industry has its ups & downs, highs and lows, and so on. Some of the struggles that I personally faced as a wedding planner was that I was so new that I had to work very hard to create a name for myself in an industry that I knew very little about. But because of my business background and great work ethic I knew that my “struggles” would eventually turn into my “strengths”. Now that I am more established it still hasn’t been easy – the hustle is real, but now I know how to present myself in meetings, open houses, and other events. The wedding industry has simply made me grow so much as a person that I am extremely grateful for all the challenges it has hit me with.

We offer full service planning, partial planning, and event management coordination, ensuring every couple enjoys a seamless and stress-free experience.

My favorite wedding blogs are definitely Wed Society & Style Me Pretty – it is my go to for design inspiration and real wedding features. My favorite apps so far are Honeybook, Canva, and Timeline Genius! All of these tools help keep me organized and stress-free!
