Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Greer.
Hi Nicole, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I’ve been working since I was 15 years old—my very first job was scooping ice cream at Baskin-Robbins in Toledo, Ohio, working for Mr. Sansone. 🍦 And honestly? I never stopped.
Even when I was a “stay-at-home mom,” I was still working—just not always for a paycheck. When I stepped away from my career in property management to raise our two kids, my husband looked at me a week later and said, “You didn’t quit one job… you picked up four.” He was right.
I worked at the YMCA so I could work out for free. I volunteered at church. I led, organized, supported, read to kids, showed up at schools, and poured energy into community wherever I could. My mission statement wasn’t just words on paper—it was how I lived every single day.
And then one magical milestone happened: both kids got on the bus. 🚍
Suddenly, I had daylight again—and a whole lot of energy ready to be invested.
That’s when Vibrant Coaching was born.
What started as one-on-one coaching quickly grew as leaders, teams, and organizations began asking for more: training, facilitation, culture work, leadership development, and real tools they could actually use. Over time, Vibrant Coaching evolved into what is now Build a Vibrant Culture—a full ecosystem of coaching, speaking, training, and consulting focused on helping people shine and organizations thrive.
Today, I get to do the work I love—helping leaders understand what it’s like to experience them, build healthy habits, lead with integrity, and create workplaces where people are energized, accountable, and proud of what they’re building together. From keynotes to leadership academies, from HR strategy to executive coaching, it’s all rooted in the same belief I’ve carried since I was 15:
Work matters. People matter. And when you bring energy, intention, and heart to what you do—you can build something truly vibrant.
I am on a mission to energize, impact, influence people and the organizations they serve to S.H.I.N.E.TM.
And the best part?
I’m just getting started. 🌟
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
I’ve faced plenty of obstacles—just like most people who build something meaningful.
One of the biggest was balancing priorities. I was raising a family, supporting my husband, showing up in my community, and still carrying this deep inner knowing that I was meant to build something of my own. There were seasons when my calendar was full, my energy was stretched, and the work was unpaid—but I kept going because the mission mattered.
Starting a business was another hurdle. Anyone who’s done it knows: there’s no roadmap, no guarantees, and no instant traction. I had to learn how to sell my value, get my first clients, build trust, and prove—over and over—that what I do creates real results. Early on, I wasn’t just coaching or training—I was educating the market on why this work matters.
And yes, I had moments where I had to prove myself in very concrete ways.
At age 42, a potential client said to me, “I can’t hire you—you don’t have a degree.”
So I went and got one.
And then I went back and earned a Master’s degree in Organizational Development—while running a business and serving clients.
That moment could have stopped me. Instead, it sharpened me.
Now here I am at 59 years old—and while many of my peers are slowing down, I’m just getting started. I have more clarity, more confidence, more wisdom, and more energy than ever. And that’s not by accident.
I truly believe the whole game of life is mental state.
I choose curiosity over cynicism.
Growth over comfort.
Energy over excuses.
I choose to be Vibrant.
That choice—to keep learning, to keep stretching, to keep believing that my best work is still ahead of me—is what’s carried me through every obstacle. And it’s the same mindset I help leaders and organizations build every day.
As you know, we’re big fans of Vibrant Culture. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Vibrant Culture exists to help leaders and organizations do something very human—and very powerful:
create workplaces where people are energized, accountable, and proud of the culture they’re building together.
We work at the intersection of leadership, culture, and performance. That means we don’t just inspire people for a day—we help them build the habits, systems, and mindsets that sustain success over time.
What do you do? What do you specialize in / what are you known for?
Vibrant Culture specializes in leadership development, organizational development, and culture transformation. Our work includes:
Keynote speaking and conference sessions
Leadership academies and manager development programs
Executive and leadership coaching
HR strategy, boutique recruiting and talent development
Culture assessments, diagnostics, and long-term partnerships
We are especially known for:
Making “soft skills” practical, measurable, and actionable
Helping leaders understand what it’s like to experience them
Turning culture from a buzzword into a business advantage
What sets you apart from others?
What sets Vibrant Culture apart is that we blend energy + experience + execution.
I bring more than two decades of real-world leadership, HR, and organizational development experience into every room—along with a vibrant, engaging facilitation style that makes learning stick. We don’t lead with theory alone. We lead with application, dialogue, and real work challenges.
Our approach is:
Highly interactive (people don’t sit and listen—they participate)
Deeply practical (tools, frameworks, and next-right-steps)
Custom-designed (no cookie-cutter programs)
We meet organizations where they are—and help them move forward with clarity and confidence.
What are you most proud of, brand-wise?
I’m most proud that Vibrant Culture is built on integrity, consistency, and impact.
Clients trust us. They bring us back. And they tell us our work changes how people lead, communicate, and show up for one another long after the workshop ends.
Brand-wise, I’m proud that “Vibrant” isn’t just a name—it’s a felt experience. People leave our sessions with more energy than they walked in with, clearer direction, and practical tools they can use immediately.
What do you want our readers to know about your brand, offerings, and services?
I want everyone to know this:
Vibrant Culture is for organizations that are serious about people, performance, and progress.
If you want:
Leaders who coach instead of control
Teams that communicate with clarity and respect
A culture that attracts and retains great talent
Energy that fuels results instead of burnout
…then this is the work we do best.
At the heart of our brand is a simple belief:
Culture is not accidental—and leadership is a choice.
We choose to build it vibrantly. 🌟
What are your plans for the future?
The future is all about scaling impact—continuing the mission to Build Vibrant Cultures.
In 2026, I will be releasing my book, What Is It Like to Experience You? Strategies, Systems, and Smarts to Lead a Vibrant Culture. The book brings together decades of leadership experience, coaching insight, and organizational development work into a practical, accessible guide for leaders who want to be intentional about the experience they create—for their people and their culture. It’s both a leadership mirror and a roadmap for action.
Alongside the book, I’m expanding and deepening our coaching offerings. I am integrating Positive Intelligence coaching and Tilt Laser coaching to complement the executive, leadership, and culture coaching already in place. These modalities allow us to work even more precisely with mindset, agility, and habit formation—helping leaders create lasting change, not just insight.
I’m also leaning fully into the opportunity created by earning my Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designation. This enables me to speak at conferences and events nationally and globally, sharing practical, high-energy, culture-shaping ideas with larger audiences while continuing the hands-on work I love most: leadership development, culture transformation, and organizational growth.
Finally, I plan to scale Vibrant Culture intentionally—through expanded programs, strategic partnerships, and continued boutique recruiting—so we can serve more organizations without sacrificing customization, quality, or integrity.
A key strategy to our impact is the Build a Vibrant Culture podcast. Currently rated by ListenerNotes as a top 5% podcast, weekly we send out relevant, applicable, content through an amazing network of authors.
At every stage, the goal remains the same:
to help leaders create workplaces where people thrive, cultures are healthy, and results follow.
