Today we’d like to introduce you to Saudia Sekandari.

Hi Saudia, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, let’s briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I have always been in love with beauty since I was a little girl. Growing up, I spent hours riding my bike in the sun, enjoying my youthful life, but unfortunately, that caused my skin to become blotchy. In my 20s, I decided to mix natural products, study more about Ayurvedic skin care, and treat my skin. I learned that Ayurvedic Skin care treatments are based on your skin type and discovered certain secrets in keeping the face and body youthful. Though I have owned Ara Auto Sales Dealership in Winston Salem with my husband for the last 9 years, I still felt something was missing. I became a spiritual life coach and an advanced esthetician incorporating Ayurvedia into my spa. Now 47, I am the face of my spa (Moroccan Touch Day Spa). Most of My clients, while getting facials, ask for spiritual advice, and I strive to help them uncover their true purpose in life and help them discover their spirituality, as well as help them shift into a positive mindset. Women overseas swear by certain products for their skin, such as Argan oil, Frankincense, Dead sea mud, volcanic clay, rosewater, and black soap made from ripened olives, and you can see how youthful and supple their skin is. My true passion is helping other women physically and spiritually. In my spa, all my facials are customized based on my client’s skin care needs. Though I do many Ayurvedic and Holistic Facials, I also do many chemical peels, microcurrent therapy, led light therapy, maderoterapy, Moroccan body scrubs, sauna, and much more. I am also passionate about health and fitness, and I aim to get many of my clients on a fitness regime because I strive to make them glow on the outside and the inside.

You wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
Thankfully, my Husband, whom I’ve been with for 31 years, has been extremely supportive of me in everything I do. When it came to studying and attending school to learn more about Ayurvedic treatments and Esthetics, he pushed me along the way even though I was overwhelmed with balancing home life, another business, 3 children, and entertaining all the time.
