Meet Shannon Nottoli of Lashoutbrowdown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Shannon Nottoli.

Hi Shannon, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I was born and raised in Tampa, FL. That’s where I attended cosmetology school and got certified for lash extensions. In 2018 we moved from Tampa to Fuquay Varina, Nc. Not having any friends and hardly any family, I decided to pursue my passion still and start my own Business. I started lashing out of a small room in a small salon in Fuquay. Building up a clientele after a year, I moved into my studio off Main Street. Since being in my studio, surviving the lockdown of Covid and all, I now have the best clients ever! I offer lashes, lash lifts, brow lamination, brow tints, waxing, and permanent makeup.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been smooth?
One struggle was Covid. After getting into my studio and leaving the comfort of being in a salon in a smaller room with fewer expenses. Covid Happened. Being shut down for months was extremely stressful, and I was unsure of the future.

As you know, we’re big fans of Lashoutbrowdown. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about the brand?
I’m a 3x certified Borboleta lash artist. I’m certified and have extensive training in all the services I offer: lashes, lash lifts, brow lamination, brow tints, waxing, and permanent makeup. The main service I do and where it all started is lashes. I’m known for that, and I’m proud to be mentioned often on the local social media pages. My brand is fun and music. My studio has a wall full of music posters and a speaker as a fridge which everyone loves.

We all have different ways of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Success to me is chasing passion. It isn’t the money. Success is being able to do what you love every day.
