Hi Stephanee, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
My name is Stephanee Johnson better known as NeeCJae on YouTube, where I’ve built a community of over 32,600 subscribers and garnered over 2 million views. As a small content creator, I identified a gap in online content catering to mature skin and beauty concerns for women over 40 and 50. Nine years ago, I created a channel focused on skincare, makeup, natural hair, and menopause, with the goal of empowering women to embrace their beauty and individuality.

At 53, I’m passionate about sharing product reviews, tips, and personal experiences that address the unique needs of mature women. Recently, I faced a health scare when a routine doctor’s visit revealed a rare 6 cm Atrial Myxoma heart tumor, which had gone undetected for 10-15 years. I documented my journey, including robotic surgery, on my channel.

This experience reminded me to cherish life and loved ones. I’m grateful for my happy marriage of 15 years, my biological son, and three bonus sons. Through my channel, I aim to inspire women to celebrate aging and live their best lives.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?

The journey hasn’t been without its challenges. However, I’ve learned that persistence and consistency are crucial to overcoming obstacles. It’s essential to stay focused on your goals, even when progress seems slow or uncertain. Additionally, avoiding comparisons with others is vital. Every creator’s path is unique, and comparing your channel to others can lead to unnecessary frustration and discouragement. Instead, maintain your momentum, stay committed to your vision, and keep moving forward.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?

I’m delighted to share more about my work! As a customer service chat agent for a leading insurance company, my primary role involves supporting insurance agents with policy processing, resolving system issues, and addressing various customer inquiries. With a strong background in customer service training, which I taught for over five years, I’ve developed a specialization in delivering exceptional support and guidance.

What sets me apart is my meticulous attention to detail and unwavering diligence in ensuring seamless customer experiences. I take pride in my work, knowing that my efforts make a tangible difference in the lives of our clients and agents. My unique blend of technical expertise and interpersonal skills enables me to provide personalized solutions, making me a valuable asset to our team.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
My favorite childhood memory is racing my dad as he prove to me that he could beat me, which he did. Mom said he regreted it later. Lol
