Meet Sylvia Glanton of Personameant Solutions

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sylvia Glanton. 

Hi Sylvia, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I began my journey into entrepreneurship in 2017 after I became a victim of identity theft in 2016. I was stuck with $30,000 in debt that did not belong to me and even a car loan. This nightmare was the turning point of my life. I began to focus more on my finances and helping those around me do the same. I went from a 546-credit score to a 742 FICO score in less than 2 years and it was all possible by using self-taught knowledge. As I was recovering, I began to bring awareness to my community and those closest to me. My biggest accomplishment was helping my parents improve their credit score to build them a fully-customized 5 bedroom 5 1/2-bedroom house. This was something that they could have never imagined before for themselves. I grew up in a pretty rough neighborhood so to help my parents get out, it was amazing to see and be a part of. Since then, I have helped over 100 families improve their credit scores and grow Personameant Solutions into a 6-figure business.

I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle-free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
This journey has been very rewarding, but there were times I wanted to give up. At one point I started leasing my own office space and my business was making just enough to pay the rent. I felt like a failure, but I knew it was something only I could improve. I started focusing more on my systems and process to improve my customer experience and just like that my revenue grew substantially.

We’ve been impressed with Personameant Solutions, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business specializes in assisting our clientele with their personal credit and providing business services to other business owners. We help consumers improve their overall credit score and assist business owners with strategies to grow their business. Our services include credit repair, business structuring, and business coaching. I think what makes our company different is the all-around personable experience. Even with our group coaching program, we keep our classes small so that our students can get the one-on-one time they need to get their questions answered. I am proud of the brand that I’ve built from the ground up because when people see our marketing, they know that we mean business and everything is clean cut. I was excited to branch off to offer coaching services to other credit repair companies and the name of that program is called Credit Sisters™. This program is great for women who are in the credit repair industry but struggle with streamlining their systems and processes. It helps them implement and take action once they are taught how to do things within their business.

Any big plans?
I look forward to growing Personameant Solutions to be a franchise that can help people all over the United States, not just North Carolina. I plan to build a legacy that I can leave for my kids when I am no longer here. I want to continue to build generational wealth that can last decades.
