Meet Teresa Wright Lindsey of Trinity

Today we’d like to introduce you to Teresa Wright Lindsey.

Hi Teresa, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Hello and nice to meet you!!! My name is Teresa W. Lindsey. I’m married to David Lindsey mother of 4, A Psalmist, Motivational Speaker, Worship Leader, Event Specialist, Mentor, and Play Writer/Director Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I started singing at the early age of 7 with the Young Harmonettes, and I haven’t stopped yet. Singing for the Lord gives me a sense of peace, it’s very therapeutic. Through all of this, I was still a Mom first and God blessed all 4 of my seed with the same gift of Music. After releasing two singles and many Concerts I asked God to show me what he would have me to do.

One day, I was at a conference and I heard a Minister say these letters P.U.M.P.S. I found that I love Networking and bringing folk together. After singing at many women’s conferences and being on the stage with such great artists like Hezekiah Walker, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, the Isley Brothers, Leandria Johnson, Vashawn Mitchell, John P Kee, just to name a few. I decided that it was time to utilize the other Gifts God has given me. That gift is to Help women Feel Beautiful it’s just that simple.

P.U.M.P.S. Pressing Under Major Pressure (but) Standing this alone speaks volumes and I stepped out on faith in 2015 and birthed this Prestigious Women’s Conference. From my Faith came this Beautiful Gathering. We seek to Edify, Motivate, Strengthen, and Educate Women from all around the World. It is with God’s Grace that this Conference grows in numbers every year.

Teresa Debuted her first Play “Picture Perfect” in March of 2021, and her Second Play “The Soul Singer in Dec of 2021. She hopes to someday write a series for Netflix or Lifetime!! I truly thank God for what he has instilled in me… I will not give up until we reach my Goals Globally!!

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Oh no, it has not been smooth but worth it!! Being a single mother working hard to make sure your kids had what they needed to be meant sometimes I went lacking!

I opted out of a lot of plays and musicals because I had kids you know and I wanted to be the one to watch them walk across the stage I didn’t want to miss the giant parts in their lives I didn’t want to leave them for my parents to raise so I sacrificed until they became adults and then I started my career.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Gospel Artist and singing is what I’m known for around the triad area. I’ve traveled all over singing but I do have corporate abilities as well with my specialty in Account Receivables! I’m the Executive director of the Teelind Foundation.

Which I founded in May 2021! Also, Playwrite and Director!! So I’m always busy!!

Any big plans?
My plans are to expand and take my plays across America! I really love writing and directing plays and making people smile especially after the last 2 years we’ve had!! One of my goals is to open a leadership academy to help women cope in the workplace.
