My journey with hemp and plant medicine began after I sustained a traumatic brain injury while playing college football. The long-term effects were something I had to learn to manage daily, and that’s when I discovered THCa. For me, it wasn’t just a trend — it was real medicine. It helped me function, heal, and feel like myself again.
I started Mystic Meadows Hemp with the vision of making this kind of support accessible to others. I believe everyone should have access to high-quality plant medicine without breaking the bank, which is why affordability and legality are cornerstones of what we do.
Our slogan is “medicine for the people,” and that’s really the heart of it — bringing grounded, healing support to the community in a way that’s honest, affordable, and effective.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It hasn’t always been easy. There’s still a lot of misunderstanding and stigma around cannabis in general, and THCa is no exception. Some people hear the name and make assumptions without knowing what it actually is or how it works as a form of plant medicine.
Sourcing has also been a challenge. I’m really selective about who I work with because quality matters — not just for effectiveness, but for safety. Finding suppliers who share those values and maintain high standards took a lot of time and trial.
Overall, navigating public perception while staying true to my mission of offering clean, affordable medicine has required patience, but it’s been worth it.

If I had to pick something I like least, I’d say the traffic can definitely be a bummer — especially since we offer delivery with in Raleigh and a few of the surrounding towns. It adds a little extra challenge on busy days, but that’s just part of doing business in a growing, thriving city. And honestly, the good far outweighs the frustrating.
