Meet Valeriia Litvinova of Vallitfit LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valeriia Litvinova.

Hi Valeriia, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Online Fitness Coach with roots in Kyiv, Ukraine. My journey in health and wellness began after moving to the United States at 15 years old. After finishing high school, I spent the next eight years pursuing a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Nutrition, and completing a comprehensive Dietetic Internship with 1,200+ hours of supervised practice across multiple disciplines. My academic foundation deeply shaped my science-based and sustainable approach to health, and I’ve carried that into my work as a coach and advocate.

But the most defining part of my journey began when my family was finally reunited in the U.S. after nearly a decade apart. We were brought together under urgent circumstances due to the war in Ukraine. My sister Anya, who has Down syndrome, had always been my closest friend growing up, and reuniting with her as an adult reignited our bond in new and powerful ways.

Together, we started working out, cooking balanced meals, and finding joy in wellness as a shared experience. What began as personal turned into something far greater. We started documenting our journey on social media, and to our surprise, it resonated with thousands of people around the world, particularly families touched by disability. We quickly realized how limited and often negative disability representation was, and we wanted to change that narrative by showing what is possible.

That passion led us to GiGi’s Playhouse, where we found not just support but a true community. We became #GenerationG Ambassadors and launched the Strength Without Labels (SWOL) program – a strength-training initiative for adults with Down syndrome designed to build confidence, improve physical fitness, and promote inclusion through movement. What started as two sisters reconnecting through fitness has grown into a program that empowers others to do the same.

Today, I continue to coach clients online, lead SWOL in partnership with GiGi’s Playhouse, and use my platform to advocate for inclusion, challenge stereotypes, and promote a realistic, sustainable approach to health. My mission is simple: to help people feel strong, confident, and capable – no matter their starting point!

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely not a smooth road but one that has been full of growth!

When I first moved to the United States from Ukraine at 15, I came to live with my older sister, Maria. She played such a crucial role in helping me adjust during those early years – navigating school, learning the language, and slowly building a life here. Even with her support, it was a massive transition. I had left behind my parents, my little sister Anya, and everything familiar. That sense of separation was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced.

Years later, when the war in Ukraine escalated, my family had to flee and come straight to the U.S. with nothing but a few winter clothes. We were finally reunited, but starting over from scratch came with a whole new set of challenges. There were cultural adjustments, financial pressure, and a steep learning curve for my parents, who had to rebuild their lives from the ground up in a new country.

Throughout that time, we began sharing our fitness journey on social media, and when we saw how many people resonated with it, we knew we wanted to do more. That’s what sparked the idea for the Strength Without Labels (SWOL) program.

Launching SWOL could have been overwhelming, but GiGi’s Playhouse was incredibly receptive. From the very beginning, they supported our vision and helped us connect with the community and secure resources to get it off the ground. Their belief in our mission made all the difference.

As the program grew, we outgrew our original space, and that’s when we partnered with Bucked Up Fitness in Cary, NC. Thanks to their generosity, we now have access to a much wider range of equipment and a facility that allows us to expand our program capacity. This means more participants, more movement, and more moments of pride for our community.

Of course, there are still barriers along the way. Navigating social media is not always easy – alongside the overwhelming support, we’ve also faced ableism and negativity. But those moments only deepen our commitment to the work we’re doing.

The journey has had its rough patches, but it has also been deeply rewarding. Through every challenge, we’ve found strength in each other, in our community, and in the mission we now carry forward together.

We’ve been impressed with Vallitfit LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
At the heart of my work is a simple but powerful belief: strength comes in many forms, and everyone deserves to feel strong, capable, and celebrated for exactly who they are.

I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Online Fitness Coach with a background in science-based nutrition and sustainable wellness. But beyond credentials, I’m also a sister, a daughter and a woman deeply committed to building a more inclusive world.

My brand is centered around empowerment without extremes. I don’t believe in quick fixes, restrictive diets, or aesthetic-based fitness goals that leave people feeling like they’re never enough. Instead, I help people rebuild their relationship with movement, food, and themselves. I specialize in coaching that combines strength training, intuitive eating, and habit-building for real, lasting change. My clients come from all walks of life – many are neurodivergent, have chronic conditions, or are rebuilding confidence after years of trying every program out there. I meet them where they are, not where society says they “should” be.

What sets my work apart is that it’s deeply personal and rooted in family. My sister Anya, who has Down syndrome, is the reason behind so much of what I do. Together, we co-founded Strength Without Labels (SWOL) – a fitness program specifically designed for adults with Down syndrome. Our mission is to create a world where every person with a disability feels empowered to move, grow, and be seen for their strengths.

I’m most proud of how far we’ve come in impact. We receive daily messages from families across the globe who feel encouraged by our content. We’ve connected with organizations like GiGi’s Playhouse and fitness spaces like Bucked Up Fitness, who believe in inclusion and have helped bring our vision to life. And most importantly, we’ve watched Anya and so many others step into their power through strength training and community support.

For readers who may be meeting us for the first time, I want them to know that this brand is for real people.
