Meet Veronica Person of La Vie Candle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Veronica Person.

Hi Veronica, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I started La Vie Candle Co. in 2018. What got me into making candles was the fulfillment candles gave me every time I would light, smell or buy one! I started researching how to start the process what materials I needed and started shopping!

When I started my candle business, the original name was Miss BBs! The name Miss BB was my oldest daughter’s nickname which means blessed baby she was my biggest motivation!

I spent alot of long nights making candles and wax melts to match all kinds of scents. Fast forward to today, I have rebranded and will be relaunching under our new name La Vie Candle Co. La Vie means “The Life” in French and will be a luxury candle brand using the best and safest quality wax, fragrances, and a popular trend wooden wicks.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It has not been a smooth road the entire time!

Some of the struggles that I faced were motivation, on days when sales are slower I have to remember to keep pushing. It’s easy to give up when things are down but they only stay down if you allow them and allow them to discourage you.

We’ve been impressed with La Vie Candle Co, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
La Vie Candle Co. is a luxury candle brand!

We specialize in making coconut soy wax candles, and coconut soy wax melts with plans to also add room/linen sprays in the future! What sets my brand apart from others is the quality of the candles I produce.

My candles are made with quality wax that holds a great scent throw, are safe for your home and environment, can be burned for up to 72 hours, and are very appealing.

What are your plans for the future?
My plans for the future are to attend more local pop-up shops, network with other business owners, and have my candles on the shelves of a local business while working towards my own storefront in the future.
