Rising Stars: Meet Archana Ahuja of Toronto

Today we’d like to introduce you to Archana Ahuja.

Hi Archana, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
Honestly, I’m fairly new to the world of Instagram and truly believe that I still have a long way to go!

I started my Instagram page a few years back, mainly to capture and post regular content about my life. In my previous posts, you will mostly find
pictures of me trying new dresses, or traveling to new places or doing some fitness activities.

Lately, me and my husband (Varun) started exploring new restaurants and trying different food options in Toronto. We then started blogging about our experiences in these restaurants and/or trying small business products.

We absolutely loved every part of blogging, and creating content on IG. We are really overwhelmed with the response we have received over past few months.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s never easy! I mean it surely looks awesome and flattering to see someone posting cool pictures of new places, restaurants and products. But let me tell you, there is a lot of time and effort that goes behind the scenes. We spend quite a good amount of time in taking pictures/videos, editing, thinking about creative/new content ideas, browsing trends, besides the time spent in getting ready for attending the events 😉. It’s a LOT! But I guess, it all pays off when you see the supportive response of your family, friends and followers! ❤️

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?

I’m an actuary by profession and Varun is a finance professional and I think I’m really proud of the fact that me and my husband are able to take on so many roles in our lives at this stage.

We have a little one (2yo) so our first responsibility goes towards taking care of him 24×7. We work full time WFH, and collectively manage our home. We also recently started Bollywood dance channel (Grooving Feet) .

Last but not least, we try to create cool IG review posts, not just for my account (@archanaahuja) but also for my baby who is a kids influencer (@happyvihaanmalhotra)

Can you talk to us a bit about the role of luck?
Good luck! It’s always good luck for us. I think I’m a happy go lucky person in my personal and professional life 😊
