Rising Stars: Meet Brandon Daniels

Today we’d like to introduce you to Brandon Daniels.

Hi Brandon, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory. 
It all started when I was a little boy singing in the choir at church. My brothers & I used to sing gospel & joined the step team for the tabernacle we attend. Growing up, I was musically inclined joining the school bands & chorus groups. Dancing was a big part of my talent as well! After high school, I traveled up and down the East Coast performing live with my brother & a few other family members. I opened up for major recording artists such as Toosie 2x, K Camp, Jadakiss, Plies, K Michelle, Bobby Valentino, and many more. Nowadays, I’m independent working on my first solo project. I would love to work with artists such as Chris Brown, J Cole, Pharrell, Scott Storch, Stevie Wonder, Missy Elliott. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Definitely been ups & downs. I’ve done rigged competitions, scammed out of my money, Janky promoters 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a licensed massage therapist. Been certified for 10 years now. Currently works at “Massage Envy”. 

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Just being outside with friends from the neighborhood. Riding bikes, playing football, hide and seek, tag, kickball
