Rising Stars: Meet Fee Johnson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Fee Johnson.

Hi Fee, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today. 
My name is Fee (Johnson). I am an actress, assistant director, musician, and creator of Touch By Angels LLC. I am originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, but in 2021, I moved to Los Angeles to further my acting and directing endeavors. In doing so, I have worked with and assisted in directing many of today’s top artist such as Beyoncé, lil baby, Panic at the disco, etc. I felt that I needed and wanted to be more active in front of the camera, so Atl became my home in October of 2023. I was introduced to acting in 2012 since I’ve had a passion for acting and finding creative ways to put scenes together. I’ve now starred in was nominated for “Best Supporting Actress” for ft film “Phels High”. I’ve now starred in 10 films, 3 commercials, and 3 music videos. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Oh no, this road has not been smooth going the entire ride, but I’m grateful for all of the people who helped me get through. Before moving out of my hometown, I went through incarceration after incarceration for non-violent offenses until I told myself that I wanted different. In 2021, when I first arrived in LA, I had a great friend that put me in position to grow in our world of artistry. He (as we would say) put me under his wing and taught me hope to soar. After a few months of steady work and progress, things came to a halt. Work slowed tremendously, and the struggle began for me. After not working enough to pay my rent, I fell into a depression. I was staying with an associate who helped me to build mental strength. I had to do so much inner work and reevaluate of my life. It came to a point where I started my work in a homeless shelter, where I worked until my last day in LA. Since I’ve been in ATL, I’ve had my fair share of disappointment due to the lack of communication and service. I’m now attracting the people I need in order to grow in my field and life altogether. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am an Artist. I am my own brand, and I specialize in acting, directing, and creative direction. I am known for being the voice of reason and life of the party. Lol I am most proud that I didn’t allow the obstacles or hard times make me into a dark person. I am proud that I can still be vulnerable in my state and allow myself to continue to grow. I am Jus Fee, the one and only, and my energy will never be found in anyone else. I stand out because of all this love and light I’m bringing to the world we live. 

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Patience, integrity, honor, peace, loyalty, and trusting in my higher power that I will receive everything that I put my mind into.
