Today we’d like to introduce you to Felicia Bittle.
Hi Felicia, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I didn’t start with a grand business plan or even the intention of becoming a stylist. I started with a genuine love for helping people feel good about themselves.
For as long as I can remember, friends, family, and colleagues would call me before big moments — interviews, birthdays, conferences, photoshoots — asking, “What should I wear?” I would come over, shop their closets, mix pieces they already owned, and watch their confidence grow right in front of me. Seeing someone stand a little taller or smile a little brighter because they felt amazing in what they were wearing never got old.
At some point, I realized this was bigger than clothes. It was about transformation. When your image matches who you are becoming, you show up differently and the world responds to you differently.
That understanding led me to create FABstyles, built on my signature philosophy: Image. Impression. Impact. What began as informal styling grew into wardrobe reviews, personal shopping, media appearances, runway and event styling, and consulting for women who were ready to elevate how they present themselves in life and business.
The journey has stretched me in beautiful ways. I’ve worked with incredible clients who trusted me to push them outside their comfort zones, partnered with local boutiques, supported community initiatives, and watched women step into new levels of visibility and leadership.
Today, my work is still rooted in the same thing that started it all — helping someone look in the mirror and truly see their power. And I’m grateful every day that I get to do it.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road, but every challenge helped shape the business and the woman I am today.
Like many entrepreneurs, I started with passion and vision, but I had to learn the realities of building a company while building confidence in myself. There were seasons of questioning if I was ready, if people would invest in styling, or if I could truly turn my gift into something sustainable. Stepping out as the face of my brand required me to grow personally just as much as professionally.
Another challenge was helping people understand that styling is not a luxury — it’s a strategy. I had to educate clients that image influences opportunity, credibility, and how you’re remembered. Once they experienced the transformation, they understood.
I’ve also learned resilience. Entrepreneurship will stretch you. There are long days, unexpected pivots, and moments where you bet on yourself before anyone else does. But each obstacle strengthened my voice, clarified my mission, and deepened my commitment to helping women show up powerfully.
Looking back, I’m grateful it wasn’t easy. The journey built the empathy and expertise I now bring to every client I serve.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
At FABstyles, I help women and leaders align their wardrobe with their ambitions. My work sits at the intersection of style, strategy, and confidence.
I specialize in wardrobe reviews, personal styling, and image consulting for clients who are evolving — professionals stepping into leadership, entrepreneurs increasing their visibility, and women who are simply ready to stop playing small. Together, we create looks that feel authentic while supporting where they’re headed next.
I’m known for helping clients see possibilities in pieces they already own. There’s something powerful about teaching a woman she doesn’t always need more — she needs intention, clarity, and a plan. My philosophy, Image. Impression. Impact., guides every experience. How you present yourself creates an immediate narrative, and I help make sure it’s the right one.
What I’m most proud of is the transformation I witness. Watching someone walk away standing taller, speaking more confidently, and showing up differently in their life and career is incredibly rewarding. Many clients tell me our work together changes more than their closet — it changes how they see themselves.
What sets me apart is that I don’t just style outfits; I build confidence and strategy. My approach is personal, collaborative, and rooted in understanding each client’s goals, lifestyle, and aspirations. When they win, I win.
Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
My biggest advice is to start before you feel ready.
So many of us wait for perfect timing, perfect resources, or perfect confidence. The truth is, clarity comes through action. You learn by doing, adjusting, and growing. If I had waited until I felt completely prepared, FABstyles might still be an idea instead of a business.
I also wish I understood earlier that building something meaningful takes time. Success isn’t just about talent — it’s about consistency, relationships, and the courage to keep going when progress feels slow. Every small step adds up.
And finally, protect your vision. Not everyone will immediately understand what you’re building, especially if it’s new or different. Stay connected to your purpose, seek mentors, and surround yourself with people who encourage your growth.
Trust yourself. You are more capable than you think.
