Rising Stars: Meet Julian Hagner of Raleigh (creedmoore)

Today we’d like to introduce you to Julian Hagner.

Hi Julian, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started my career in 2008 in Germany Idar- Oberstein. I worked for a family company “Jung” for good 10 years, where I learned a lot of my work and education. I got my color degree in Frankfurt with the company Wella. In these 10 years I learned a lot about hair, makeup, consulting, color and managed salon.
I made a big decision to move to America 9 years ago and started at Frizzles Salon in downtown Alexandria, Virginia. Back at that time I was married to a military lawyer. That was the main reason for the move to USA but also I experienced wonderful moves to Alexandria, Charlottesville and Southern Pines, where I worked at top notch hair salon.
Since I moved to Raleigh September 2023 I found my salon Bacio Salon that lines up with all my education and experience and what I’m looking forward to grow more and make the best work.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been a challenging journey. When I first moved to the U.S., I had just started learning English, and I was often very hard on myself about how I spoke or worded things. However, over time, I’ve seen significant improvement and feel much more confident now.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m specialized in blond color , all around color and precision cut. Consulting

What’s most proud of is the feedback I get from my clients and their friends.

I’m a very direct person in a very professional way, a lot of people really appreciate that. I’m not here to sugar coat anything . Lol

What matters most to you? Why?
Is family and friends. Having family is the foundation for your life to achieve success and confidence.
