I was born in at Fort Sill Hospital. Moved to Detroit when I was five years old. Was always a marginal student, just doing enough to pass. In June of 1980 i joined the United States Marine Corp. I spent the next 21 years traveling the world, also severing combat duty in iraq during Desert Storm. I also went back to school while in receiving a B.S. in Avation.
I also Married and raised two sons.

Upon retirement from the Marines I went to work for Pepsi working as Territory Sale manger,Marketing manager, and Senior Account executive.. After 13 years with them I left there and went to Walmart for four years working as a Co Manager for 16 months then a Store manger. Upon leaving there I help start a Digital media marketing company called T&T Creative group. I am currently vice president of video.

I have also served my community in the following postions:

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
My struggles where different as I grew. Believing I could do it in the early stages. Learning and increasing my leadership skills.as responsibilities in my life increased. Later bringing these things together to become the confident leader I am today.

Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My specialty is being a outstanding leader and a good manager. I am proud of the fact I am able to operate in the Military, Non Profit, Corporate and government world. I do this by understanding key leadership traits and which ones to operate in when needed.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Sending time with family ( 2 sons, 2 daughter in laws, 6 grand children, 2 great grand children) Having served in the Marines for 21 years and being away from home makes you have a different prospective of how important time is.
