Hi Patricia & Katlheen, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Everything started in January of 2020 with two friends, a box of strawberries, a bag of chocolates and the desire of creating an extra source of income during a challenging time. we started with no experience or knowledge of what we were doing, learning everything through YouTube tutorials and a lot of trial and error.
As we grew, so did our ideas. We began adding flowers to create edible arrangements, then we added desserts that later turned into beautiful dessert tables, but we did not stop there. Our will to grow and keep expanding brought us to create charcuterie boxes to delicious grazing tables, and eventually expanded into many other services. Along the way, God has been with us every step of the way. He gave us the strength, creativity, opportunities, and perseverance to keep going, even when we didn’t know what the next step would be. What started as a small idea between two friends slowly grew into a business that we are truly proud and passionate about.
Looking back, it’s amazing to see God’s hand throughout our journey. We started with very little, but with faith, determination, and a willingness to learn, we were able to turn that small beginning into something much bigger that we could imagine and we truly love doing.
We are incredibly grateful that PK Creations has had the opportunity to be part of so many special moments in people’s lives. From birthdays to baby showers, to proposals and weddings, to church events and graduations or any special occasion that you can think of.
Every opportunity, every client, and every milestone has been a blessing to us. We give all the glory and thanks to God for allowing us to use our creativity and talents to serve others and be part of these meaningful moments
Everything we have been able to accomplish up to this point has been possible because of Him. We are deeply thankful for how he has guided PK Creations, opened doors, and allowed this little idea that started with two friends, a box of strawberries, and a bag of chocolate to become what it is today.
We know this journey is only possible because of God, and our prayer is that everything we continue to create will always bring him glory.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t always been a smooth road. One of our biggest challenges was starting with no experience or formal knowledge of the business. We had to learn everything along the way from creating our products and improving our techniques to understanding pricing, customer service, marketing, and managing the business itself.
There were also moments when things didn’t go as planned, especially as we took on bigger orders and new types of events. Learning how to manage growth, while maintaining the quality and personal touch we wanted was another challenge.
But through every challenge, we learned, adapted, and kept moving forward. Most importantly, we trusted God throughout the process. There were many moments when we didn’t know exactly what we were doing or what the next step would be, but He always provided a way and gave us the strength to keep going.
Each obstacle has taught us something new and helped us grow, not only as a business but also personally. We are grateful for every lesson, every opportunity, and even the difficult moments, because they have brought us to where we are today.

At PK Creations, we offer a wide variety of services, including custom treats and desserts, from chocolate covered strawberries to cakes, dessert and fruit tables. We also offer charcuterie and grazing tables, balloon décor, and event planning and coordination.
We specialize in making our client’s celebrations even more special by creating personalized experiences that reflect their vision, style, and needs. Our passion is helping make every celebration feel truly special and personal. We believe that every event tells a story and our goal is to bring our client’s vision to life while creating an experience they can enjoy and remember.
We’re known for our custom desserts that are an important part of what we do. We love creating delicious treats that complement the theme and style of each event, allowing every detail to feel intentional and personal. No two celebrations are exactly the same, so we approach every event according to the individual requests of each client.
We are especially proud that we took the chance to explore talents we didn’t even know we had. We started by learning how to make chocolate-covered strawberries and, step by step, challenged ourselves to learn new skills. We learned how to create everything from desserts to grazing tables to balloon décor and event planning. Every new challenge has helped PK Creations become what it is today.
One of the things that sets us apart is that we don’t simply create desserts or decorations—we help create the entire experience. We work closely with our clients from beginning to end, whether that means helping them establish a budget, selecting the right items and services, developing a theme, or taking care of the smallest details that bring everything together. We want our clients to enjoy their celebration knowing that their vision is being handled with care.
For us, PK Creations is about more than creating something beautiful—it’s about creating an experience and helping turn our clients’ special moments into memories they will carry with them for years to come.
Are there any apps, books, podcasts, blogs or other resources you think our readers should check out?
Staying close to God has been the most important part of our journey. We truly believe that without His guidance, none of what we do today would be possible. He is our greatest source of inspiration and our first teacher. We love to say that we create because we are daughters of a Creator God, and we believe the creativity and talents we have discovered along the way are gifts from Him.
And then, of course, there’s YouTube—our other teacher! We always joke that you would be surprised by how much you can learn there. From the very beginning, YouTube tutorials gave us the opportunity to teach ourselves, try new things, make mistakes, and continue improving our skills.
Developing good habits has also been an important part of our growth. We enjoy listening to motivational and business podcasts, reading books, and especially learning from the stories and experiences of other Latina entrepreneurs. Seeing other women build, overcome challenges, and pursue their dreams reminds us that there is always something new to learn.
For us, growth is a continuous process. We want to remain teachable, keep developing our creativity, and continue learning both personally and professionally—always keeping God at the center of everything we do.
