Rising Stars: Meet Rhonda Gately of North Raleigh

Today we’d like to introduce you to Rhonda Gately.

Hi Rhonda, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I have been a Nurse Practitioner for 25 years and prior to moving to NC, I lived in Massachusetts and there I worked in a women’s health clinic for 17 years providing care to mostly underserved individuals. I loved it, but I was very interested in the beauty industry and had a love for for aesthetics. When my husband and I moved to NC in 2017 I decided to focus my job search as an aesthetic NP. I was lucky enough to get hired and trained by BodyLase and that is where my aesthetics journey began. I have been an injector at BodyLase since Febuary of 2018 and love this job so much!

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a smooth road, working at BodyLase has provided me with all the tools needed to be successful and continue to learn as I grow with this industry.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a Nurse Practitioner at BodyLase Medical Spa specializing in aesthetics. I am an injector there providing Botox, fillers and PRP, as well as coolsculpting and Morpheus 8 treatments. I am known for being a provider who listens to her patients, educates them and provides them with results that make them happy and more confident. I have many 5 star reviews and build trust and long lasting relationships with my patients. I am most proud of working with such an amazing, supportive team of women and growing our spa together. We are a top 1% Allergan provider and have won Raleighs best med spa for the past 3 years.

We’re always looking for the lessons that can be learned in any situation, including tragic ones like the Covid-19 crisis. Are there any lessons you’ve learned that you can share?
I learned that there are always times when you need to try to change up what you are doing to adapt to new challenges and adjust to circstances that may be out of your control
