Rising Stars: Meet Samira Haddad

Today we’d like to introduce you to Samira Haddad.

Samira, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We had 6000 sq ft 1st Day spa in NC. I saw an article on permanent eyeliner in a magazine so I want that for me cuz I was allergic to makeup there was no one in USA.

So I called the magazine and got the info on a guy in Canada.

When I told my client they wanted it too, so I went for the basic training and then I developed my own technique.

I, Samira Haddad, owner and Certified Master Trainer for beginner and advanced permanent makeup cosmetics. Microblading brows, Shading, Powder Ombre brows, permanent eyeliner, Lip Blush color and micro skin needling I have been in the beauty business for over 35 years and been a pioneer in the permanent makeup business technique for over 32 years. I have been “changing faces” since 1987.

My commitment as a specialist is to provide my clients and students with the safest, pain free and most artistic application of permanent makeup. You can be assured I adhere to the highest standards of safety and ethics as well as technical ability.

My business facility is licensed by the Greensboro, NC Dept of Environmental Health and North Carolina State Board of Cosmetology.

Samira’s Permanent Makeup uses the strictest sanitation and sterilization and pigments specifically produced for permanent cosmetics.

I trained my son Enad Haddad 15 years ago.

Enad a Master Colorist/Salon Educator has been in the beauty business for over 20 years.

He was fascinated with the permanent makeup watching mom changing faces and making women look more beautiful.

Following his Mother’s footsteps in Permanent Makeup and Micro Skin Needling, it’s now been 14 years of excellent learning experiences and rewarding to enhance women’s eyes, eyebrows and lips.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Not too bad since I was an artist and good at color that helped a lot so when a client came in with gray blue color that was done by others, we corrected it but finding a safe numbing was hard. but now we have the best.

I am also a pioneer in makeup color correction. I correct procedures on people who either had it done overseas or in the US by other technicians with disappointing Grey/green or pink eyebrows or blue lips results. Micro pigmentation has been one of the most rewarding procedure I have ever done! It is so exciting to have a client hug me and tell me how excited they are to have eyebrows again and also for those who cannot apply makeup themselves due to shaky hands or eyesight problems.

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Yes, to be the best train with the best one on one training is how we do it not 15 students not online or from YouTube. We provide training and on live models.
