Rising Stars: Meet Tiffany Davis

I was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. I’ve been a licensed cosmetologist for 18 years and I’ve always been interested in fashion. As a child, I remember wearing my grandmother’s high-heel pumps and putting on her red lipstick just to walk up and down my great-grandmother’s wheelchair ramp.

I’ve always had family and friends ask for my advice on what to wear and whenever I would put an outfit together, it would receive compliments from everyone who saw it. This inspired me to create a service-based business for people who need assistance with their wardrobe. I am available to help with anything from simple style changes, interviews, photo shoots, vacations, to everyday looks. I have even had a few clients who’ve lost a significant amount of weight and sought out my services to help them reinvent their closet. Fashion has always come second nature to me and I wanted to assist those who struggle to create outfits they feel confident and comfortable in. I offer a variety of packages to suit all styles and budgets.

This is a fairly new business venture and I can say it’s not easy as it may seem when you’re dealing with different personalities or body types. The first thing you need to look your absolute best is the confidence to wear your clothing. Overall, my biggest struggle has been helping my clients discover that confidence within themselves.

T. Davis Image Consulting has many facets. Personal shopping consists of me locating exclusive pieces that are no longer available on the initial website. I also offer online/in-store shopping for those individuals who want to look their best, but don’t want to find the clothes themselves. The site allows you to book individual looks or a series of outfits for work, vacations, interviews, etc.

Closet hauls allow me to see what items you already have and help you decide what you may want to keep, and what items need to be discarded.

Meet and Greet shopping is also an option. With this package, we coordinate a day to go shopping together in the selected stores. This allows the client to try pieces on at the location and allows me to get an in person feel for their style preferences. What sets T DAVIS apart is my extensive knowledge in the current fashion trends, the ability to find outfits at any store for any budget, and my ability to instill confidence in my clients.

The advice I’d give to anyone starting out would be… to stay focused and dedicated. Don’t let other people’s opinions cloud your judgment. Your passion for the industry is what makes you stand out. Don’t second guess yourself.
